Youth Society for Peace and Development of the Balkans and Varna Municipality, in partnership with Association for Support of the Academic Society, have the pleasure to invite you to the National Meeting “YOUTH EMPLOYMENT” and the 7th National Youth Exhibition, that will take place in the period June 9-13, 2010 in Varna, Bulgaria.
The new framework for European cooperation in the youth field has been adopted by the Council of EU in November 2009 with a resolution that includes a proposal to set up and reinforce the Structured Dialogue between youth representatives and national and European institutions. The trio presidencies Spain-Belgium-Hungary, the European Commission and the European Youth Forum decided to address the issue of youth employment.
Following the bottom-up approach Bulgaria will present its vision and will prepare a national action plan. Bulgarian youth organizations already expressed their position of the great importance of the social inclusion and youth employment for the National youth strategy draft 2010-2020. That shows the relevance of the European priorities on national level.
Main goal of the National meeting YOUTH EMPLOYMENT is to define specific measures for improvement the employment of young people and the adoption of a national action plan. Main topics in the event are youth autonomy, career development, lifelong learning, youth entrepreneurship, rights of workers and social cohesion.
Representatives of the European Parliament, Bulgarian institutions, the European Youth Forum, National youth councils and international youth organizations will also take part in the meeting.
