Dream to Create Your Future

As a partner organization Youth Society for Peace and Development of the Balkans will send 5 young people aged between 17 and 25 years for participation in youth exchange, which will be held in Iznik (Nikea), Turkey from 08.02.2010 to 15.02.2010. The project called: “Dream to create your future” will be implemented with the support of the European program “Youth in Action”. Other partner countries are Portugal, Italy and Poland. Main activities in the project are: visiting the lake and historical places, getting involved to local people, atelier work; making traditional puppets and doing the traditional theatre of Hacivat and Karagöz, workshops with different tools, visiting IZNIK and BURSA which used to be the centre of Christianity and then the capital city of Ottoman Empire.
IZNIK (NIKEA), which is just 1.5 hours far from Istanbul, is a very historical town which is famous with its ceramics.
