Angelica Dambrosio

On 19th September starts the training period of Angelica Dambrosio in Youth society for peace and development of the Balkans. The Italian girl will work 3 months for the International department of YSPDB and on the International projects of the organization. Part of her stay will be a Bulgarian language course that will be organized for her in cooperation with the Language department of the Agricultural University – Plovdiv.

The Leonardo da Vinci Programme has been established back in the year 1995. It aims at increasing knowledge, skills and qualifications of persons in Vocational Education and Training (VET) and supporting quality and innovation in VET systems in Europe. Since the year 2000, start of the second phase of the Programme, it has helped more than 400 000 persons to realize their idea of getting an insight in professional life in another European Country. This has been a good start to employment for the participants in an increasingly interconnected and international world where “mobility, flexibility, language skills and international experience” can give the job seekers an edge in the job market.

Since 2008 Youth Society for peace and development of the Balkans has been a partner of PROVINCIA DI RIMINI and Coop. sociale “Kara Bobowski” in the implementation of projects under the lifelong Learning Programme of the European Union.  YSPDB hosted its first Italian trainee in the period May – August 2008 for an international training period. The trainee Noemi Marinelli had a Bulgarian language course and 13 weeks she was working in YSPDB. She had the opportunity to take part in the organization of two International Youth projects under the “Youth in Action” programme that took place in Bulgaria.  She was also invited to take part as a facilitator at these exchanges, so that she could put in practice the preparation work she had already done.

“It was perfect, I loved it, I learnt a lot from every tasks I received, and the nicest is that my training is not going to finish just like the other ones (very probably I’ll still collaborate with YSPDB, if they’ll need and they’ll ask me for some help in some international projects, like the ones I was working on).”  said Noemi in her final evaluation form.
