The “Rhythm” of Youth

Municipality of Castelgrande (Italy) invited young people from 4 countries at an International Youth Exchange - The “Rhythm” of Youth that was held in Italy in the period 20 - 25 August 2009. The aims of the project were to foster better understanding between the participants on the topics of Music, Tradition and Musical History. During the week spent in Italy the participants from Bulgaria, Poland, Romania and Italy had the opportunity to organize a workshop on youth creativity where they have exchange experience and music passion. At the final event the whole group presented a new song “Let’s sing together” created by the participants especially for the event.
The population of Castelgrande and the whole Basilicata region was very happy to welcome the young people and to present the traditional Italian Music to them.
