Young People’s Image in the Society

In the period 11-13 June 2009 Youth Society for Peace and Development of the Balkans and Varna Municipality, in cooperation with the State Agency for Youth and Sports, Young Europeans for Security and Youth Media Network Association will organize the National Debate “Young People’s Image in the Society”, supported by Action 5.1. of the “Youth in Action” Programme. Participants in the event will be more than 150 representatives of Bulgarian youth organizations.
The main focus of the event will be the first official meeting of the newly established Youth Consultative Body in Bulgaria (YCB). During the debate the representatives to the YCB and the representatives of the youth organizations will discuss the priorities of the new structure. Together with the State Agency for youth and sports they will start the cooperation between young people and the decision-makers. This process started after the National debate “Structured dialogue and the young people in Bulgaria” in 2008.
After the debate the National Youth Exhibition will take place. For the 6th time youth NGOs from all over the country will present their work at the open space in the Sea Garden of Varna.
