Meeting with National Association of Municipalities in Republic of Bulgaria

Today participants from the National Debate on structured dialogue met Mrs. Elen Ivanova from the National Association of the Municipalities in Republic of Bulgaria (NAMRB) on occasion of the youth declaration signed by the debate. Main topic of the meeting was the dialogue between the municipalities and the youth organizations on local level. Mrs. Ivanova declared the openness for cooperation between the youth organizations and NAMRB. Such cooperation would bring up the need of local youth policy and the political will for effective youth policy especially in the rural areas. NAMRB will give the opportunity to the youth organizations to present themselves during the next annual meeting of the Association in October. Local Youth NGOs will be able the present its work under the slogan “WE ARE THE YOUNGSTERS FROM YOUR TOWN”. NAMRB will give a space for the young people in its electronic bulletin and other materials.
