The main idea of the project was to improve youth work quality and to increase youth participation in Europe through the development of competences models for the youth workers.

With this project we met the youth workers’ needs of self-development in order to increase the quality of youth projects and youth work. Topic of this project was connected with competences: knowledge, skills and attitudes. This was the second project of the cycle and it was focused mostly on competences as one of the most important part while working with young people. As a result of this project we will also create a competency model for youth workers and start to write a publication about competences (first issue - creativity). Next issues will cover another competences from created model and they will be created after next WOW projects.
Special guests at the seminar were Veselin ILIEV (EBCO) and Vera TURKANU (CNTM - Moldova) - members of the Youth Work Development Working Group of the European Youth Forum.
The project was realized with the financial support of “Youth in Action” Programme.
Materials from the project will be soon published.
