YSPDB prepared a report on the volunteering in Bulgaria

On the occasion of 5th of December - International Volunteer day, Youth Society for Peace and Development of the Balkans prepared a report about the development of the volunteering in Bulgaria, at European Youth Forum’s request.
This report will be part of the European Shadow report of the European Youth Forum on the implementation of the four priorities of the common objectives of the European Commission in the youth field, and the relevant work on the Open Method of Coordination. Today the report will be presented to the European commission. The information about the volunteer service in Bulgaria was required and very important in a view of the forthcoming European accession. As a main recommendation in the report, there has been indicated the necessity of legal regulation of the volunteer work and its recognition, as well as the state support for the organizations working with volunteers. The shadow report will be soon published at our website.
