Bulgaria Korea Youth Exchange Program

A youth exchange between Korea and Bulgaria took place in the period 05-11 October 2008 in Seoul. The YSPDB Secretary General Veselin Iliev took part at the event. Other Bulgarian youth NGOs represented were Young Europeans for Security, Youth Centre - Blagoevgrad, Youth Movement for Rights and Freedom and Institute for Youth Policy - Pazardzhik.

The European Parliament is taking a step forward in placing youth policy higher on the political agenda by adopting a written declaration on youth empowerment, in its plenary session this week in Brussels.
International Youth Day

On the occasion of this year’s International Youth Day (12 August), whose theme is youth and climate change, youth organisations from all across Europe remind world leaders they should end their long and inefficient discussions on global warming, and instead, take immediate action. Children and youth in developing countries are the ones with the most at stake.
