International Conscientious Objection Conference - Istanbul (Turkey)

YSPDB will take a part in the International Conscientious Objection Conference in Istanbul (Turkey). This conference aims to encourage governments throughout the world to recognize conscientious objection as a human right. Since the conference will be held in Istanbul, there will be a special focus on the Turkish legal system. The conference will be invited to recognize the right of conscientious objection on the Turkish legal system.
ACSN meeting in Zagreb

The Anticorruption student network meeting took place between 19 - 21 January in Zagreb. This meeting was crucial for the network future. Representatives from the SESI AB and IIEP also took part in the meeting.

The SALTO Cultural Diversity Resource Centre, in cooperation with the UK National Agency and the Youth Council for Northern Ireland, will be developing a 6 day training course on Faith & Dialogue. It will be held in Belfast, Northern Ireland, 21 - 28 April 2007.

Cyril and Methodius- Skopje, University of St. Kliment Ohridski-Bitola, Tetovo State University and SEE University will organize the third edition of the International Summer University Macedonia.
The last conscripts will join the Armed Forces in the summer

It is absolutely possible to complete the professionalization of the Bulgarian Armed Forces in 2007 after the last 4,000 professional servicepersons are recruited, Parliament's National Security Committee Chairman Angel Naidenov said on Monday.
