The topic this year is “Youth Volunteering”. The meeting will take place in the period 30 Jun – 04 Jul 2011 in Varna and is implemented with the financial support of Youth in Action 2007-2013 programme.

Recruitment of volunteers to the EuroBasket 2011 has already started. The European men's basketball championship 2011 will be held in six Lithuanian cities: Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipeda, Šiauliai, Panevezys and Alytus from August 31st to September 18th. For the first time, 24 best Europe's basketball teams will participate in the championship.

“Internet policy: new forms of youth participation” was the name of the Round table that took place in Plovdiv on Friday 17 September. The round table is part of a scientific project E-citizenship. The participants in the round table were members of the E-citizenship project team, representatives of Plovdiv Municipality, political parties, Youth non-governmental and political organizations, political science and sociology students.

Two young Bulgarians took part in EUROCAMP 2010 in Germany. YSPDB was partner of the project, held under the program Youth in Action, met more than sixty people from over twenty different countries in the city of Dessau. The goal was for them to learn about discrimination and prejudice in Europe and take a stand against them.
